不是。栖不生成任何文字。诗全部来自内置的古诗语料，每一条都对着权威来源逐字核对过、附着出处；挑哪一句是在你的设备上按照片的主体、时令与色调匹配出来的。你可以点「换一句」换到另一个候选，也可以「写自己的」。
因为那张照片里没写。节气、时辰、干支、编号都由照片的拍摄时刻算出来，地点来自照片自带的坐标。截图、从网上存下来的图、被转存过一次的图，常常已经没有这些信息了——栖宁可空着，也不会替它编一个。
取自《中国传统色》，384 条，全部人工核对过。栖提取照片的主色，在色表里找最接近的那一条，叫出它的名字——书按二十四节气编排，所以同一块颜色在不同节气里可能叫法不同。差得太远时不给它起名，而不是硬凑一个。
实况照片除了那张照片，还有一段几秒的视频，栖原样保留它，所以一件实况作品通常是静图作品的好几倍。打开那件作品，选「不再保留实况」，就会删掉那段动态、把作品变成静图，其余一切不变。这一步不可恢复。
作品列表里长按那件作品，选「删除作品」；或在作品详情页底部删除。两处都会先问一句。删除会一并清掉栖为它保存的照片副本，你相册里的原片不受影响。
不会。栖没有服务器、没有账号，所有处理都在你的设备本地完成。唯一的联网是「补全城市名」那个默认关闭的开关：打开后，照片自带的粗坐标（已约到约十公里的格子）会送到 Apple 的地名服务换一个城市名——只发送坐标，不涉及照片内容。详见隐私政策。
不在。所有作品只存在设备本地的应用沙盒里，删除 App 即全部删除，且无法找回。已经存进系统相册的成品不受影响。
iOS 17 及以上。玻璃质感的界面在 iOS 26 及以上会用系统的液态玻璃呈现，更早的系统上是磨砂质感。
No. Dwell generates no text. Every poem comes from a bundled corpus of classical Chinese poetry, each line checked word by word against an authoritative source and carrying its citation. Which line appears is matched on your device against the photo's subject, season and colour. Tap “another line” for a different candidate, or write your own.
Because the photo does not carry them. The solar term, hour, sexagenary year and serial are all derived from the photo's capture time, and the place from its coordinates. Screenshots, images saved from the web, and re-saved copies have usually lost that metadata. Dwell leaves the line out rather than inventing one.
From Chinese Traditional Colours — 384 entries, each verified by hand. Dwell extracts the photo's dominant colour and names the nearest entry. The book is arranged by the twenty-four solar terms, so the same colour may be named differently in a different season. When nothing is close enough, Dwell leaves it unnamed rather than forcing a name.
A Live Photo carries a few seconds of video alongside the still, and Dwell keeps it byte for byte — so such a work is several times the size of a still one. Open the work and choose “stop keeping the Live Photo”: the motion clip is deleted, the work becomes a still, and nothing else changes. This cannot be undone.
Press and hold it in the library and choose delete, or delete it from the work's own page. Both ask first. Deleting also removes the copy of the photo Dwell kept; the original in your photo library is untouched.
No. Dwell has no server and no accounts; everything happens on your device. The only network use is the default-off place-name switch: when on, the photo's coarse coordinate (already rounded to a cell about ten kilometres across) is sent to Apple's geocoding service in exchange for a city name. Only coordinates are sent, never photo content. See the privacy policy.
No. Works live only in the app's sandbox on your device; deleting the app deletes them all, irrecoverably. Anything already saved to your photo library is unaffected.
iOS 17 and later. The glass surfaces use the system's Liquid Glass on iOS 26 and later, and a frosted material on earlier systems.
